Phonics and Readers serve to reinforce students' language foundation, enabling them to read more fluently and spell more accurately. In the class, we teach various word combinations, such as consonant blends, digraphs, and letter-sound correspondences. The lessons not only focus on English pronunciation but also involve reading short sentences with students, gradually helping them to read English books. This course utilizes the renowned phonics
teaching program, Letterland.
There are three stages in total, with two terms in each stage.
The course activities include phonics learning, phonics games, big group reading, blending and spelling practice, and workbook time.
